Seriously though, he went about his homage the wrong way. Go ahead and attack both, there's nothing stopping anyone. Are you trying to say it's OK that Cameron is doing it, because Lucas got away with it? Sorry if I'm misinterpreting the point.
People aren't very conscious of these things usually, it's just when it's made very obvious through the main story line that everyone comments on it and bashes it. Perhaps if Lucas had included some actually Asian people (there were a few btw) along side his lizards, it would have been a little better.
Other people have pointed this out before you too you know, it's not like critics have ignored Lucas as well.
